I have a Mini 14 factory folder Ranch model.  I have called Ruger and confirmed it left Ruger this way.
Mine is a exact match for this one.

What is your rarest gun you own ?

A Winchester Lightweight in .243 , it's lamenated brown walnut. Just haven't seen another one. I've seen featherweights but not lightweights.

I don't like mini 14's very much but that is pretty cool!

I don't own any rare guns.
But someday I would like to own a Springfield full-rail GI model.  GI bushing barrel and guide rod, and Novak sights.  Now they make them with a bull barrel and Bomars.  I'd rather have the first model.  The new ones are pretty rare, the old ones are like hens teeth.

I have the 38th factory SBR that KAC sold.  That's about as exotic as my collection gets.

Only rare ones I have are

Gen 3 Austrian proof mark glock 19, supposedly only imported for one month
Gen 2 ported glock 19, never seen another one
Gen 1 glock 19, only a handful were made.
7/10/2016 2:14:38 PM EDT

Not really rare, but it is mine.  And I like it.

Love the concept.

Also i am jealous, when i was first stating to get in to firearms, those SMLE's were  about 65 bucks.

Always wanted one, but never got it.

Buy cheap and stack deep and all that....

Why couldn't i know of this concept this in the early 90's... i was just a tweener/teenager...

Wish I had kept one.

Rarest thing we have right now is a Ruger Mark I that left the factory with a compensator. As far as Ruger can tell, it's the first one to ever leave the factory so configured- and it will never be sold

Savage 10FP with a factory folding stock.  I don't know how rare it is... but when they were produced you'd see maybe 2 at a time on GunBroker.

Also a Special Weapons 89k in 40 s&w that after some German parts additions runs very well.  Hopefully one day it will look like this:

Neither image is of me or of the gun I have.

I don't have anything rare but work with a woman who claims her husband has one-she knows next to nothing about guns, her husbands a collector. Her story is, he has some rare Ruger firearm, and called when he had his FFL to order another one. They said it wasn't supposed to leave the factory, less than a dozen were made for Ruger employees, and they offered him anything he wanted from their current production line if he'd send it back to them. I say full of shit, but does this kind of thing ever actually happen? I've seen similar claims often enough it makes me wonder.
