My inquisitive friend taped several ceramic plates together, 1" total, and fired his AK and my AR into them. He was surprised to see that the AR produced a larger exit hole than the AK. I told him it was probably due to fragmentation.

I wear a vest ocassionaly that is supposed to stop a 308 round. That's a good thing but I always figured that the bullet would be stopped. Then richochete up through my head.
