I posted the following under a different thread, but maybe it should be its own:

Perhaps it is time we sent all of our representatives the exact same message. A potent, to the point message that we are dissatisfied with our government. We share it across all forms of social media with a link to one of those services that allows you to email all of your representatives at once. And since just sending one email is a great way to get ignored, we send hundreds of copies of the exact same email. Flood their servers, bog down their internet, basically scream at the top of our lungs (on the internet) until they are forced to listen.

And before anyone says "It's too late for that." or "It won''t change anything!", understand that this is just a first step. Perhaps step 1 is to become disruptive on social media, with the exact same message on a loop. The same message sent from thousands of people. Comment on their personal websites, flood their email servers, send links to it on their twitter feeds, over and over and over again until they are forced to respond, publicly. And if we don't like their answer, continue to flood with the exact same message.

It won't take much from people, because they can do it at their desk at home just by copying and pasting. Also people love being an internet troll and maybe we can use that to our advantage.

It may do absolutely nothing, but with enough people it may force them to respond.

I am open to any and all opinions/thoughts.

I have already sent the exact same to Cruz which GD hated even though he is a Constitutionist that will uphold the Constitution in favor of Trump.

I can go over to my Congressman's house and talk politics anytime I wish.

He's on our side 100% on the issues.

Your 'first step' at this point, is a strongly worded letter?

Let me know how that turns out.

This is just a first draft and it seems a little combative, but I kind of think that is what is needed. However I do not want to come off as crazy or unhinged, so if you get a sense of that please make edits and post them. I think we want to remain civil, but very firm in our demands.

I am open to any and all edit suggestions:

This is an official notice of the American people to its government. We are dissatisfied with our current path over the last few decades and it is time that some radical and fundamental changes are made. These are not empty threats, if we do not see progress on the following demands by September 30th, we will view you as unfit to represent us within our government. This means that next time you are up for reelection, no matter the opposing candidate, they will have our votes. You have our word on that. A list will be kept and distributed throughout this network, informing all of your actions regarding these demands. When it comes time to vote, you can count on us to be informed. Our list of demands is as follows:

1. Direct action needs to be taken immediately to cease all movement towards restrictions any personal rights and freedoms of the American people. Any move to restrict our freedom of speech, our right to keep and bear arms, our right to due process, our right to privacy, etc. Need to be halted immediately.

2. The following laws need to be repealed; The Patriot Act, the NFA, any federal or state law requiring firearms registration (and the destruction of all current registration records), any state or federal law restricting freedom of speech (free speech zones, requiring permits for protesters, allowing the secret service or police forces to make arrests on those not committing a crime other than expressing their 1st amendment rights).

3. No one person is above the law, regardless of status within the government. Hillary Clinton committed a crime, one she needs to be held accountable for. Regardless of what the DOJ or FBI give for reasons why we "shouldn't" press charges, she committed a crime. Therefore charges must be brought upon her and she must defend herself in court. Let her be judged by the American people.

4. All political donations and contributions are required to be released to the US public within 3 business days. The data must include the dollar amount or item donated, the corporation/trust/entity that donated, the date/time/location of exchange, and duration of the meeting.

We suggest you take these demands very seriously.

Regards,
-The American People

Start somewhere? I have been sending these fucks letters for DECADES. Every time there is a big bill, the NRA gets involved and has mailing and call in campaigns. Legislators get flooded with mail, e-mail and phone calls on every topic, every bill, every issue. They have staff that does nothing all day except count for and against communications for each bill. Literally. Your idea has been going on since before either of us were born, and it has morphed in the electronic age.

But Congress is irrelevant. They are a limp dick. What has congress done to fuck us in the past 8 years? OK, they passed Obamacare. One act passed by a Democrat controlled congress, and they don't control congress anymore. So what are you going to write your congressman and ask him to do? Repeal Obamacare? Hold hearings on Hillary? Hold hearings on Benghazi? Hold hearings on the Arab Spring? Hold hearings on the hearings over Benghazi?

This is way past Step 1. We're at Step 99 and the previous 98 steps haven't done shit.

I understand your frustration, I have lived it just as you have. What do you propose we do now? What is your next move?

How about something simple like...

Will not comply.

Long winded messages haven't done a damn thing to help, keep it short, sweet , and to the point.

Yeah I really want to keep things simple but I think we may need to give them a direction. But maybe I am wrong, maybe short and sweet will cause them to ask questions about the message..

Thoughts?

I agree that something must be done but I just don't know what.  We need some group like The Untouchables who can go in and clean up all the corruption.  But who would they be and who would give them the power to do so?  I don't know.

I heard you were dissatisfied with government, Tovarisch.

Let me help you with that.
