That everyone is shocked when they find out people from both parties or news outlets call for gun control.

Are you truly shocked? Or are you just trying to get your post count up?

I've been saying for years now that both parties and side of the aisle are one and the same. But yet we still have people who act shocked when they all call for bans.

But seriously, I don't either party gives a shit about the Second Amendment, it's just that one party knows they need to support it to keep their job. The minute that changes, we're fucked.

As was said by a talking head "Everyone knew the bills would get shot down but now both sides can go back to their electorate and say "we tried, but the other side voted it down"." It is an election year after all.

Most politicians will support a side of an issue based on who their money comes from, most who say they respect and uphold the constitution would light it on fire for a big enough check.
