What is that about? I like describing the CZ as a Beretta, and the Star Model B as a "Witness Elite." Having a single round in your revolver also seems silly. Yeah, I really don't understand it. I know nothing about knitting. But if I were doing a movie scene with a few knitting items, I would spend 5 minutes talking so someone who knits, or at least internet research, so I don't call the needles chopsticks or the yarn thread or something else that would be wrong any annoying to people who actually knew. Most would not care? With guns, a LOT of people care. It half ruins movies for me when gun stuff is so wrong. |

Especially when somewhere on set there was a bloody armorer who provided all those weapons. |

I've had too many folks try to ruin my revolvers by snapping the cylinder around like that. It's hard on the ejector rod and crane. I really wish movies wouldn't show that. Yeah, that's a constant source of irritation for me as well. my cousin did that to my 686 pro series this past weekend.

If they'd called the cz-75 the right name, and actually picked up a witness elite match instead of the Star, the dialogue would have been correct. |

Yeah, in all fairness, I have no idea how many takes on that scene it was, and maybe the director finally liked what he saw performance-wise, and either didn't notice the naming errors, or figured they were less important than the overall take. e.g.: "Look, I know they goofed on the gun models Mr. Armorer, but that was take bloody 19, we were losing the light, and they finally nailed it. We're not shooting the bloody thing over again for that!" |

That shit can be a bitch to fix. People nowadays dont seem to realize how much of a revolvers bits have to be hand fitted. |
