Went to Cabela's today with permission to buy the reloading press I wanted for Father's Day. Saw a bunch of M&Ps going out but they had a sale on. There was lots of stock on the shelf, I was able to buy 9mm projectiles, small pistol primers, a pound of Universal, and some shirts from the bargain cave. |

Well... which press did you go with? Picked up a Hornady single stage about two months ago and jumped into the reloading habit. Best piece of advice I can give is to head over to Inline Fabrication and pick up a mount. Enjoy and Happy Fathers Day! Well. My budget wasn't huge. Got a Lee Progressive 1000 with 9mm dies. It'll get me started. Better than the Lee hand press I've been using. |

Enjoy and have fun learning! Thanks. I've been planning to get into 9mm reloading since my first kid was born 10 years ago. I have 3 big Costco size coffee cans full of 9mm brass just waiting to be decapped and cleaned. :) |

panic will get more wide spread between now and election day The panic from last week already peaked and will mellow out in a couple weeks. Manufacturers likely responded by cranking up production, we'll have salad days again at the end of July as dealers/ distributors try to get rid of all their panic buys at cost to pay their invoices. Then prices will start climbing mid-late August and continue to climb until the election and beyond, depending upon who is elected. |

So then I suggested the press, and she said, Okay, "happy father's day." |

Things are pretty normal around here, except no .22 ammo. But that's been the case for the last several years, so no change as far as that goes. I guess that means it's "normal" around here now. Correction: Went to the gun shop today. ARs are like gold now. Everything else is okay, but the AR panic has begun here. |

I happened to be in N. Ky/Cincinnati area today, stopped at Cabelas North of Cincy & they had plenty of .22. No good deals on it , but plenty of it there.. |

She doesn't really care about holidays. I pretty much do all the Christmas shopping for the kids. Oh well she makes up for it in other ways. |
