Sometime during the night, my dad's shop was robbed. His neighbor was leaving early this AM and noticed his air compressor sitting on the corner of his house. He checked his shop and saw that someone busted the lock, however he doesn't think anything is missing. He notified my dad and he looked in his shop. Air compressor, generator and a chainsaw is missing. My pelican rifle case was opened, but I had nothing inside.

10 miles down the road, a co worker of mine had his personal truck, company truck, and wifes car broken into in the same night. They stole his gun, a pressure washer and some other stuff.

I hope they find these fuckers, or they find them dead in someone's yard.

I have some stuff in my dad's shop as well. There was plenty of more valuable stuff in the shops. Now they know what's in there.

Thieves should be killed on the spot...but that is a barbaric thought isn't it?

Had some thieves steal my street bike at the time and just absolutely murder it.  Smashed, crashed, no tread on the tires, ripped up everything.  Just a god damn shame.. No one caught or arrested of course.

I bought that motorcycle on $10/hr job.  I saved so hard.  What a joke.  I'll never put that kind of money into anything material ever again - OR I should say, unless I am making 200k+/yr.  Ain't worth the heart break.

They will be back. Get an alarm (silent) and wire it up to your home.  Get cameras too.  Record it over the net. When the alarm goes off, scramble to the shop, call 911 and be sure to ID yourself (description) and your vehicle.  No need for the cops to shoot you or  your father.

When I lived in TX my local FFL had a cattle ranch. Someone stole the gas out of some five gallon jugs he had for his tractor. The tractor and the cans were sitting in his field fairly close the the fence line along a major road so in plain sight. So he got some new cans and filled the 90% with water with a little gas on top. Sure as shit someone stole the cans again. Later the same day within a couple miles of his house he passes a pickup broken down on the side of the road, with identical gas cans in the bed of the truck!

Turns out there were about 3 other robberies last night.

It's a kind of small town and burglaries aren't very often .

Good luck catching them.

Although it pales in comparison to your father's situation, some fuck hacked my credit card today for about $150 dollars.

Fuck thieves.  Most likely some liberal fuck that needs a good and thorough beating.

Edit: Fuck grammar, too.

If time permits, make absolutely sure you keep an eye out at any local pawn shops, yard sales, and flea-markets. The police will not do that for you.

Also, post in the TX HTF (maybe offer a 'reward')...

What's mine is mine, I worked very hard for it, for many years, anyone taking my stuff is suicidal.

Someone posted a situation like that on the site a few years back. The perps were nephews or some such kin to the farmer.

Situation or solution? I wouldn't be surprised if he was on here; he is an FFL.
