I think I'm going to give Android Pay a shot, at least to the extent possible by retailers with NFC capable point of sale machines. Opinions/experiences?

When I use my iPhone I use Apple Pay any time it's an option, it's simple and fast.

Same here.  My phone is a a lot easier to grab out of my pocket than fumbling around with my wallet and credit cards. Since the payment terminal automatically activates Apple Pay all I have to do is hold my finger on the TouchID sensor.

It's simple, fast, and secure

This. And they don't want to track me and my purchases like other merchant offered payment options.

Been using Android Pay (used to be called Google Wallet) for about 4-5 years. Use it every chance I get

I have a Samsung. The only places I have been to with NFC are places that are too foo-foo and expensive for me.

The newer Galaxy phones with Samsung Pay don't require NFC--they can fake a magnetic swipe on the old-school credit card machines.  You just hold it near the card slot.

I've been using Apple Pay wherever possible.

I like it, and it is fast and very secure.

Nobody ever sees your card, and every transaction uses a one-time number.

Yeah, I saw that with the Samsung Pay.  Only problem is I have a Note 4 and it doesn't support it.  On the flip side, magnetic strip, while still very popular, has to be on it's way out the door within the next couple of years. That's the only thing that makes Samsung Pay better than Android/Apple Pay, but after the mag strips are gone, it should be a more level field.
