HOLEE FUCK.
Since I didn't get to see Civil War today (thanks, Mom), my consolation prize is Dredd. WHY hasn't this gotten more mention? I saw a bit of it last time I was at the lake house, and thought it looked good. WOW. I'm about a third of the way through, and it ROCKS. Now, Urban is talking about a series, and it sounds like he has either Amazon or Netfilix serious about it.

I kind of consider that the "Adam West" version. It was kind of campy, kind of funny. If you don't take it seriously, it was not TERRIBLE. A Nexflix DREDD series...could rival the coming Punisher series for badass. |

"WHY hasn't this gotten more mention? " IIRC isn't it technically a foreign film and only had limited US release? Think that had a big part of it. I recall watching it the first time a year or two after it came out, then IMMEDIATELY kicking myself in the ass for not seeing it in IMAX when it played. |
