I don't know how to add a poll, so maybe a moderator will be so kind. I need to buy some more 45acp 230gr brass-cased FMJ ammunition. I have used Sellier & Bellot for many years, and am happy with it. However, since I'll be buying about 2,000 rounds, I figured this would be a good time to ask opinions. PRICE BEING EQUAL, would you buy Sellier & Bellot or Fiocchi factory ammo? If you know of another brand/make that is similarly priced but better quality...please chime in. Lastly, besides ammoman.com do you have a suggestion of where to get great deals? |

Why would you want to buy 2,000 rounds of a back up round? Why not reload,and I would say stay away from S&B,its kind of hot and the primers are hard (real hard)!Might work good in a Thompson and not so good in a pistol(depends on your firing pin set up)! And you know of course your pistol is just to get you to your rifle of choice! Bob [:D] |

I'm not saying it's great ammo, however, it always gone Bang. |

[;)] All the .45 I've bought has been made in America though. All the 9mm cases I've bought were made in Italy. Being an Italian-American, I can live with that. [:)] |
