No.  It's a recovery vehicle.  Up top you can see the winch cable guide rollers.

It *is* very angular like WWII era German AFVs.  They certainly has a identifiable design aesthetic.

However, they always loved their interleaved road wheels which this one lacked, which was a tip off for me.

The Panzer MK III and MKIV  and other AFVs using that hull used that type of road wheel
