I always procrastanate come tax time. Well I received the 1095C that is required but today I received a 1095B from my insurer. How many more forms are required to do my taxes?

Tell me about it. I had to get all of my family member's birth certificates, marriage license, tax documents, and fax them off just to prove that my family is my family and that they have coverage. I haven't changed jobs in 15 years and marriage status for 7 years. Ridiculous.
I mean what the fuck is this nonsense?!? That was a waste of time and energy to deal with that bullshit. Sorry to be so blunt, but having to do this was ridiculous. |

Is that form the only acceptable proof of insurance? I never bothered to give my insurance company my family's SS numbers as I don't see where the law requires me to provide that info. As far as I know, only the insurance company is required to provide that info the the IRS. |

NPR had some clown on there today who was promoting having the IRS do your taxes for you, and just send you a refund, or a bill, and you didnt have to do anything. used NPR's usual whiny victim thing, " poor people, who cant afford to pay people to do their taxes, or too stupid to do them themselves", so the gov should do them for free.
they said that, SOME rich people use tax professionals because they THINK they can save more money thru tax breaks and loopholes....... and maybe a few do..or whatever... but it would make everyones lives so much easier if we just let the gov decide our taxes.... in XXX country, they just send people a text, telling them how much they get back, and they click yes, to have it direct deposited, and how awesome that would be for "mericans, vs doing REALLY complicated tax paperwork, the irs can just look at your earnings, and all the interest your bank payed you, and just crank out your refund easy peasy.... they then say HOWEVER, cruze wants to eliminate the irs completely, and go to a flat tax..... but we obviously cant do that... because for the irs to do everyones taxes, we must make it even bigger.... so it will have the manpower...
