| Finally have one within an hour. What should I buy? |

Jump on that pneumatic slide whistle. They are GTG. Don't bother with the cordless hammer. The battery doesn't last that long. |

The rolling toolboxes (except the smallest one) are all really great quality for the price. Impact sockets are good to go. Their pittsburgh pro ratchets are pretty decent. I use one of their submergable trash pumps as a lift station to drain my yard. It's out there all winter, frozen solid, pumps mulch, generally beat to crap and it still works. |

I have one of just about every category. The new socket sets are quite good, the ones with the black plastic case with light green closures. The finish is excellent, and there's a good assortment of extensions. The little electronic torque wrench accessory works great, too. You put it between the ratchet and the socket, and read the torque.
I have used my tile saws, both bridge and sliding table, for a number of projects and they're great. I have a plate compactor, pressure washer and concrete mixer. All work very well. There is a problem with the seals in the carbs of their gas engines. Gasoline leaks out on the ground, or into the crank case. There's no problem of you shut the engine off with the fuel stopcock. The work benches are really nice. I put some little wheels on one, and that's my rifle bench. I can roll it around the basement that way. |

Seconded. Tree stand tarps (off season), trailer tarps, dead deer tarps, leaf tarps, etc. you name the use, I use Harbor Freight tarps. Cheap enough I can replace them as they wear out. Frankly though, a tarp us a tarp. Quoted:

My most recent HF aquisition was one of their rolling tool chest. It's pretty solid. I also picked up one of the Chicago Tools angle grinders but I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet.
The little $5 ammo boxes they have are alright too. They're plastic but they still have a seal on the lid and seem to hold up alright although I haven't really put any of the ones I've bought through any serious abuse. I figure for $5, even if I don't find them suitable to keep ammo in, there's plenty of other shit out in the garage I can use them for. |

For your first trip, which apparently causes you some trepidation, I suggest buying some inexpensive balls.
Harbor Freight has them in a variety of materials including brass, plastic, rubber, and stainless steel. HarborbFreigjt balls also come in a variety of sizes from little bitty balls used to make stuffed English sausages (i.e., little bity faggot balls) to imitation Y Garreg Orchest balls (i.e., Wales balls). Make sure to take your 20% off coupon so you got a good deal on whatever balls strike your fancy. You'll need a way the transport them and protect them so make sure you get a balls protector and carrier. Get one sturdy enough for the family.jewels. Once youve got them you may also wish to invest in a spell checker, which by the way is not a tool forwarding off incantations by Chinese sorcerers. Just kidding. HF tool are generally like everything from China. The less-expensive the lower quality; the more expensive the higher-quality. When it comes to Harbor Freight Tools don't buy the cheapest brand or the most expensive one, and when it breaks take it back. |

Zip ties. You know you need more. I always pick up more zip ties and nitrile gloves every time I go there. Their anti fatigue mats are also a good deal when on sale (which is often). I have my shop floor and workout area set up with them. They look identical to the ones I overpaid for at Dick's. |
