Hey Guys -
I recently started looking into personal property/firearm insurance after learning most homeowners policies only cover up to $2500. While I'm not paranoid about breakin's, the thought of a house fire makes me want to consider getting insurance. For all the fishing equipment, firearms, and miscellaneous items I have laying around the house, the policy for $76,000 of coverage is about $1,000 a year through state farm. First question is, does anyone have insurance to cover the abovementioned items? Second question, Is there any way to avoid taking out a personal articles policy and just have it covered through homeowners? I was surprised by the amount of toys we all have here that it's not often mentioned. |
