[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Graphics software

Does anyone have any suggestions as to graphics software? I have Photoshop 7 to deal with photos, but I need a program to actually draw and create graphics in Windows. Price is not a factor.

Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard, much like Photoshop is. If you use Photoshop, the interface will be familiar.

I like Fireworks MX for Macromedia...

For printed stuff I'd go with AI,

for web material (if you use Macromedia products I'd say Freehand),

for regular tasks, Corel Draw

Illustrator, period (though Freehand isn't bad)

I've used Coreldraw plenty. It is an inferior program to Illustrator, it's usable, but if your gonna buy an AR, Buy a Bushy, not a Hesse.
