Seems like they really fixed some of the most complained about issues, a good option for ban states and people who like the lines of traditional stocks.
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/02/29/tfbtv-ares-scr-generation-2-review/ Also I saw a post on one with a wood stock and actually I think it looks kinda nice. http://imgur.com/a/T0y1y Definitely a credible piece. |

Yeah there certainly is something about traditional rifle lines that just say "This is a man's gun." Quoted:

I want one, and I live in a free state. It has that M1A scout look without the $1500+ price tag and need to start with new types of mags or ammo. Yeah there certainly is something about traditional rifle lines that just say "This is a man's gun." Same here. |

Looks like something the Europeans would have used in the 70's if all of the FAL's and 7.62 ammo were lost in a boating accident. If I had that wood stock one I'd call it my MAS 49/2016

I also sort of want.
I would have however on a gen 2 done a little more Get rid of the cowboy checkering: do you even stipple bro? Why not a more modern texture? Adjustable lop: phenolic spacers at the end of the stock that can be removed or added for an adjustable length of pull Free float all day: if you're going to take a combat rifle into a conventional stock why not exploit a great feature....accuracy? From factory free floated Side charging: as seen in the video a conventional ch doesn't work well with a horn style stock. You already have a proprietary bcg. Make it side charging with a handsome ch plug. |

If it were 308 I'd buy it in a second. I wanted a Ruger Gunsite scout but never fo'd an ar 10 in this config would open my wallet a bit more |

I really like mine. Feels like it handles better in the woods, and it's easier to fit it into a rifle scabbard or case. The trigger is meh, but other than that, no complaints. Does anyone make an extended mag release to make it accessible from the traditional grip? |

I actually like it way more with the wood stock, it could blend right in with the fudd guns I kind of want now.
I truly believe that we could do the cause significant good if we got Fudd's involved with guns that are more useful overall. If it involves slapping some wood on a modern design, so be it. |
