I paid 2k for it back in college about 7 years ago, Panasonic plasma, 52 inch, I moved it to my bedroom.  Still works fine.  Mine!



The resolution on my new one though, real life doesn't look life this...

My current TV is over 20 years old and still going, but I'm poor as fuck to GD standards, so I would expect a $1200 TV to last for ever.

It might, it's an LCD though, the technology probably started in some lab 20 years go.  It's made of plastic and liquid crystals, not tubes and glass. Holy shit is it beautiful though.  I am playing an Aaron Lewis video on it, speakers are filling my house shit sounds good :).
