My favorite is a toss up between Hallucination Orbit and The Green Hills Of Earth.
The snippet of the song The Grand Canal gives me a chill. "Bone-tired the race that raised the Towers, forgotten are their lores; Long gone the gods who shed the tears that lap these crystal shores. Slow beats the time-worn heart of Mars beneath this icy sky; The thin air whispers voicelessly that all who live must die" |

Also on Archive are "Lights Out" and a host of others. Good stuff. I have a couple of Zenith floor radios from the late 30's and mid 40's that I'm going to restore and play these through for the "glowing tube" effect. that would be cool to make an old radio looking player I used to love listening to radio shows on the old radios the smell of the warm radio really added to the charm. |

I used to have an Old Time Radio app on my android phone and tablet
So that's another way to get some of these shows. I like to get them in MP3 so I can load them on to the radio in my Jeep I listen to them then delete them off the radio so I don't loose track of what I listened to. |

Some of the radios have a "phono" plug in the back for plugging in a turntable. Some of the radio resto guys use that with a Bluetooth receiver so they can play through the radio with an Ipod or other player. I know what you mean about the warm radio smell. Its one my favorites. |
