Yeah, I could probably Google it, but really you guys seem to have better and more concise answers.

Why are we required to register with a party affiliation before voting in primaries?

Why can't a person just walk in to a polling place and vote the candidate of choice at any election?
Why must I be registered as a Republican to vote for Cruz, or Democrat to vote for Sanders?

Don't closed elections cause most of the problems we see now like the us vs them issues?

Or should I just go back to yelling at clouds?

There are innumerable things wrong with our system and bitching on arfcom never solved one of them.

Guess your right, sorry for asking.

I'll now turn it back over to the pompous, the hookers, the LGBBQ whatever, rage about everything, bought 5 dollars worth of coins, what camera for filming porn, and Velveeta cheese threads which are obviously important.

Many people believe the Democrats voting in open GOP primaries are the reason we've had such suckass candidates in the past two presidential elections.

Voting in party primaries should only be done by those willing to claim party loyalty. Open primaries are idiotic.
