Well first id like to thin Threefiftynone for making me a bronze team member. secondly ill get to my question. Ive seen so many good avatars around here and I wonder how they are made? I have a pic that is 31.9 kbs in size which is over the 12 kb limit. I think I know how to resize the picture itself but does this make it smaller kb wise as well? I can provide more info if it is required. :mods: if there is a better place for this thread then please move it and inform me via IM. if there is another topic somewhere with the answer then you are welcome to lock this and hotlink the thread to here. -thanx. |

Yes. Glad to see you got membership Wolf. That was quite a contest! Anyway, trying to resize a high quality photo to 80x60 will destroy the photo. Go to google and search for animation or photos that are 80x60. For example, if you typed "ar15 80x60" it would only find photos are animation that are 80x60. Pretty cool. Make sure that you have permission from the owner, unless it is a flag or another image that no one owns. You can try to make your own. At least you'll be original! bukshot aka Chapman |
