I live in the area hit hard by last weeks' blizzard.  I accept and completely understand with why there was no mail that Friday all the way until this past Wednesday 1/27.

We received our mail in both the mailbox and packages on our front porch on Wednesday.  But on Thursday they resumed the double-duty--we have 2 drivers who seem to split the deliveries.  On Thursday we received some of our packages by the one driver, and got mail in the box.

The packages that were not delivered had "notice left, receptacle blocked" on them.  They were held.

Mailboxes are cleared of any/all snow, and front is easily accessible by foot and vehicle, as the one driver has consistently proven.

Same shit Friday, and now today.  The one driver with the one package just uses the whole bullshit excuse that the receptacle is blocked.  But at the same time today, we got other mail and items.

I fucking hate USPS and it's army of wastes of life who allow the few who work hard there to destroy its work ethic.  It's like most of America now, filled with 80% pieces of shit and 20% good people.

Could not agree with you more. Worst are the government workers who know they are next to impossible to fire and take advantage of it.

LOL Holy shitsnacks, I got the same thing for a small Amazon delivery by USPS!!!

No snow blocking the box, it gets massive sun so everything has TOTALLY melted off the road and next to it, driveway clear, family home.

Fucking lazy motherfuckers

I used to get lots of the delivery missed go to the post office to pick up notices.

Two years ago I made the effort to get to know my driver and he's a nice guy, I tipped him the last two years running, and haven't had a single missed delivery in those two years.

Coincidence?

My regular USPS driver thanks me for the job security after I became an Amazon Prime member. He's not too happy about the 30 pound dog food boxes every 3 weeks though.

Funny you say that, I've been having similar problems lately.  I think it's because the delivery lady doesn't want to get her fat ass out of the seat and walk the 30 yards to my house.  I've never had an issue before this lady.  Last week I had 3 packages coming on the same day.  All went out for delivery at the same time.  Got home and one was in the mail box and the other two said undeliverable as addressed.  ths next day another one showed up, the day after that the last one came.  This has happened several times.

I stopped getting mail for about 3 weeks last year. Called down to the post office and they told me that there wasnt a "safe route" to get the my mailbox. Next day I confronted my mailman and asked. He said "the path is not 36 inches." He pulls out his own tape measure and measures it for me...28". Then says "it's unsafe to walk paths narrower than 36"." Ok pal.

Same guy this fall says "hey can you maybe rake by your bushes for me? It makes it tough to cut through the lawns." Aka, i'm to lazy to walk the sidewalk between the houses so I cut across the lawns.

Lazy fucker.

My mail/packages were dutifully placed where they always are starting this past Wednesday.

My carrier responds well to home-made apple butter it seems.

I was surprised to see mail delivered on the 23rd.  Had 13" on the ground.  And my mail carrier drives an old Buick.
