| HE is happy that finally some Republican is doing what we all want them to do. Tell the media to suck it and run their campaign the way the candidate wants to. Rush stated yesterday that Trump is basically running a clinic on how to run a campaign with regard to taking it to the media and making connections to the voters, Rush is disappointed that other candidates are not learning from Trump's example. |

I think Rush sees what most normal people see. We're tired of watching our representation in DC (the majority) get run over and played like a flute by the radical left minority. Then when someone steps up and starts calling shit out, the republicans turn on that voice with more disdain than they show for Obama or Hillary. It's disgusting.
I'll admit I'm not the biggest Trump fan but I'm way more a fan of what he's doing than what our "conservative leadership" has been up to. |

I also liked how he pointed out the hypocrisy of the media that the RNC refused to do a second debate with NBC but now it's not ok if Trump tells a venue to fuck off. Eta: clarity |

Rush even specifically brought up the fact that people are lying and misinformed when they say he is supporting Trump, that they are hearing what they want to hear merely because Rush tries to explain what Trump is doing in a factual basis and not an emotional one.
Sorry you don't like Rush anymore. Maybe Levin, who has a family connection to the Ted Cruz campaign, will be more palatable for you.

I've been called a liar about this story, but this happened but I can't prove it.
Years ago in like the early 90's when the internet wasn't what it is now, Rush had a TV show that I watched religiously. I loved that dude. He does a story on Bill Clinton, that makes Clinton looks like a serious assbag, that I ate up with a fucking ladle. Hell I probably repeated it the next day to every person I saw. I have no idea what it was now because I can't recall, but it make Clinton look like a scumbag. It is Clinton speaking to a room of donors or whatever it was. A day or two later, I got to see the full vid where Rush had taken Clinton completely out of context with a great edit of what I think were the prefacing words. The full video completely changed what Clinton had said. I mean 100% different. Soured me forever on the guy. Just tell it like it is. Those jackasses like Clinton screw up enough without having to make shit up about them to make a slow day a good day. Anyway, I don't trust Rush to give me an accurate current temp update. YMMV |

Hell now I can't even recall what it was about, but I sure still feel the betrayal I felt from Rush's dumbass for doing that. Rush used something that may have been given to him edited, and uses it, and your first assumption is that he did it on purpose. You don't remember the incident, and you can't name another one he's had in 25 years on the radio, TV, and in books. Methinks you assume too much.

Rush has a theory that the media cannot destroy you if they didn't make you. If that's true, then Trump has too much gravity already. They can take down other politicians because they don't have that background, but Trump is different. I'm just worried he'll backstab the shit out of us once he's in office.
Still, I'll vote for him or Cruz with confidence, even though I'd prefer Cruz. |
