Is chicken stock and chicken broth, the same?

Looking to season rice.

The ingredients calls for chicken stock.

Stock uses bones and is much more flavorful.  Broth can be used though.  All depends on the amount of flavor you're willing to give up VS going back to the store and buying stock

All I can say is,

pouring in chicken broth to cook the rice in my dinner tonight, beat the socks off of just using water!

I have never tasted rice this good!

I've always been under the impression that broth came from meat and stock comes from bones.
