http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=7209 Schools across the country are offering course credit and paying for students to attend “The White Privilege Conference.” More than 20 workshops on topics of sex, race, and gender will be featured at the event. The 2016 conference will feature a variety of speakers and numerous breakout sessions, all of which come at an additional charge. On two of the four days, participants will have the opportunity to spend six hours attending workshops of their choosing, including several tailored for middle-school and high-school students in attendance. More than 20 workshops will be featured at the event, covering topics of sex, race, and gender.
One workshop, titled “Self Care and Healing as Change Agents,” will provide attendees with a safe-space to share the emotional burden that comes from being a social justice warrior. “Feeling exhausted, burned out from working to dismantle racism and white supremacy, and other forms of oppression in organizations, groups, and individuals? Still deeply committed to creating greater equity, inclusion and social justice in society and in organizations, yet finding yourself, at times, too weary or overwhelmed to make meaningful change? We all deserve spaces to heal, refuel, and re-commit to our vision and goals,” the workshop description states. Another workshop will be geared exclusively towards middle-school and high-school students to allow them to “engage in meaningful dialogue about white privilege, white supremacy, and methods of breaking down systems of oppression.” Workshops include:

I'm in the second week of Intercultural Communications and am learning about this "White Privilege". I may not maintain my 4.0 with this class....
I'm feeling smarter the further I get to finishing my degree, at least this is my last term.

They cannot help it - it is a genetic predisposition and I am saying this as a British black woman.There is no cure for this. Us black folk should repatriate to a land where we can make lives for ourselves without fear of being killed, oppressed or kept down because white people cannot change and are in denial. They simply DO NOT believe that they have done, or are doing anything wrong. |
| You know what triggers me? Stupid fucking shitty drivers. And I'd be willing to bet whoever attends that is a horrible driver. Why don't they have be a better driver conferences? Sorry, I ain't buying this stuff. I come from a long line of white folks who knew how to get'er done, and I'm not embarrassed about it. I'm sitting in a house a built myself- no black or brown people were harmed doing it. Maybe it's time for some special people to follow the example of me and mine, instead of waiting around whining for reparations, or whatever this is about. |

You know this whole white privilege thing is probably one of the most flattering things I've ever seen directed at white people.
White people have, historically kicked so much ass on this planet, that we have bred an entire sub group of whites who are apologizing for our race's monumental successes. What a complement!
