What would be a cool scenario to live as.
This is a for fun scenario not much else. I might go back to 1720 and sail this 
I'd carry 2 of these (4 shots)

And make this my flag

I think I would settle for foiling the Kennedy assassination then cleaning up on long term investments.
This would probably wind up erasing me from existence somehow though. My father saw JFK at the airport the day he was shot and the circumstances that led to my birth are, shall I say somewhat unlikely. |

I would not know how to foil the JFK plot. if you knock out Oswald, the SS would still ND into his head somehow. and you are 4 stories up in a building powerless to stop it. Then there was the flechette guy on the Knoll.
I guess you could put a VBIED or burning gas tanker on the parade route and set it off a few minutes before the arrival to cause them to abort the whole thing. not having LBJ for Potus would be pretty nice. |

My time travel objective would be a little less exciting than some here, but more satisfying to me.
A while ago, I started looking at my family tree. One of the things that was a little disheartening was the number of names of under one year olds that appeared once on a census, and then never again. My great, great grandparents firstborn (Zibiah) appeared twice. That made her eleven years old. For some reason that stuck with me much more than the newborns that didn't make it. I gave in to my curiosity and ordered a copy of her death certificate. She died of gastroenteritis and exhaustion. My trip back would be to take a couple of bottles of Pedialyte, a packet of Imodium, and maybe a course of Cipro. I would love to see my great, great aunt live out her life and raise her own family. |

I'm 41, have thought time travel would be cool for as long as I could remember, have had the same ideas as others in here, but just thought of this now. Why not eliminate evil at the source? |

I considered that there may be someone else in Hitler's place, but figured "how much worse could that guy be than Hitler?" Your Princip suggestion is an intriguing one. That might have headed the whole mess (really two whole messes) off. |
