Just came up with this.
Basically its an anti vehicle, man portable rocket with a warhead that is separated into a few pieces. Instead of having one single large warhead at the very front of the rocket, you have a couple smaller explosive shaped charges that detonate sequentially boring a hole into whatever is on the receiving end. Another variation is kind the MIRV version of an AT rocket. It shoots out two half circles/half rings that detonate before the main payload and take care of any anti-antitank countermeasures that the thing on the receiving end may deploy. Basically a rocket with anti-anti-rocket rockets. |
| Sounds interesting, but I'm not sure who would use it. Where is there a need for a man portable missile launcher capable of defeating heavily armored vehicles with APS? I guess it would be good for people engaged in guerrilla warfare against modern armor, but I doubt they have the cash for this. |
