| Seriously, it's time already. |
|
Up until today the only Jeb stuff I've seen is on tv. Today I saw my first Jeb lawn sign. I've seen 10x as many Cruz and Trump. I seen 5x as many Carly and Carson. No Crispie Cream signs yet.
Hillary and Bernie signs are about even which means that I have only seen bumper stickers, no lawn signs and pretty much split 50/50. |

Quoted:
After he drops out, what happens to all the money his campaign has amassed? What about the PAC money? It will all get spent. Cushy campaign job salaries, PR firms owned by family friends, etc. That's all part of the plan. Election campaigns have become a jobs program for political patrons. That's why so many candidates keep running for so long after they clearly have no chance. It's a huge machine that has to be fed. |

Quoted:
When he stops paying Karl Rove, Karl Rove will tell him it is time to drop out. somehow I think this is probably true in the sense that as long as his advisors are paid they will do everything to convince him he's got a chance, to milk it. it's all pac money anyway right? |

Quoted:
He'll split it among his supporters. It'll make two people very rich. Quoted:

Campaigns usually come to an end when they run out of money. Jeb still has millions in his war chest. His army of consultants and advisors won't let him drop out until they get their share of that money.
This is how politics works at the professional level. It's a paycheck. |

Well, his campaign shifted from an "ignore the early races and concentrate on racking up delegates on Super Tuesday" to a "Make a decisive showing in Iowa or NH" strategy. Given the money available to Bush, the first strategy was much smarter. However, if your donors start getting panicky and not wanting to hand over cash, then you may need to show some strength early to convince them to stay on board.
If the strategy switch is to keep donors in-line, then Bush will probably be out if he doesn't win in IA or NH, or maybe come in 2nd in both. |
