I was thinking back to that day when we saw the smoke form the towers billowing toward the sky. I was trying to think of any ray of sunshine that day or was the horrific scene unfolding on the sky and TV always going to block out any good on that day? One of the things I do remember you'd have to put in the good column was the phone calls. Not normal every day phone calls either. It was people as far back as high school who I haven't talked to in years, liberals mostly. Somehow they knew because of our businesses and they we were into guns. What they wanted was guns. They were not afraid of arab terrorists walking down the streets killing Americans. They were afraid of Martial law being declared and then the have nots would be roaming the streets in the dead of night killing people for their food. (these ultra jersey liberals did not use the term "Have nots", the used vile racists names for minorities) Amazing thing to listen to liberals asking to "borrow" a gun, in some instances pleading too. My answer was "I cannot lend you a gun, jersey law prohibits it, you know those laws you applauded?" I told most if they were that afraid they could come to our home and be safe. Liberal tears brightened that day just a little. |
