Trying to determine the value of a Colt Python to sell, no pics of it.

It is excellent condition or better, only 50 rounds through it.  One owner purchased new.  Six inch barrel, blued, and has the original box too which is in good condition.

Thoughts on value?  Thanks.

Reported to ATF/IRS/DOJ/DHS for unlicensed selling of firearm.

Re-education van on its way.

LGS has a blued one they're asking $2600 for, friend of mine bought one in nickel for $2200. Start at $2700 and go down from there based on offers.

It would sell for between $2300 and $3000 on Gunbroker IMHO.

Damn!  I have two of them.  One 6" and one 4".  Maybe I should sell them.

There was a blued one at the gun show this weekend that was in pretty rough cosmetic shape. He was asking $3500 for it.

It didn't sell.

Gunbroker->Advance Search->Completed Items->In search words bar, Insert "Colt Python"->hit search and then only pay attention to the items which sold.

yep but like was stated above, don't confuse asking price with selling prices.   A lot of those gun show table guns with $3k on them are merely sucker bait for the condition of the firearm.  Tantamount to asking $40k for for an F150 albeit it's a 1989 with a few dents.  Well a pristine 2016 F150 can be $40k so why not?

That said your description sounds like it could be on the high end of the scale with box, papers, and a low round count with 100% condition.

Production year and correct stocks determine value as well.  Earlier>Later

Haven't sold one for less than $2000 in quite a while. $3000 is a stretch in my opinion.

Same price range as a Glock 7: More than you make in a month, pal.

There's one that sounds a lot like op's in our LGS.  Very minty.  Price is indicated as $4999.00.
