Winter has arrived here and there is white shit all over the ground and stuck to the trees. The roads are a mess. My feet are cold and wet and this bullshit won't stop until some time in early May. If you Florida yahoos still have good weather then go fishing, have an umbrella drink and fondle a Latina with big tits.

| I'm have been sweating my last couple of days of deer season out. Should be 50's but damn mid 70's+. Mosquitos and leaves still on some trees. This weather should have been gone over a month ago. Unreal rainfall has made it even worse. Terrible hunting season this year. |

Winter arrived while I was delivering a load of steel wire in Grand Rapids, MI on Monday. My tarp was frozen in the shape of the load and it was so windy I couldn't fold it, so it got stomped into a lump and strapped to the trailer. Then the sleet started on I-96 while I was between GR and Lansing, which isn't any fun with an empty trailer. I-69 was a skating rink so I crept along until it turned to rain at the Indiana border. The combination of wind and ice was truly worrying, and I should have stayed in the truck stop and waited it out, rather than try to drive.

Sorry, I bought winter tires for the first time in my life.
I accept the blame for our warm weather up to this pon't (32 in michigaj right now). My lake has had skim ice only once so far this year. I could still take the boat out today if it wanted. Last two years we had mounds of snow by now and I had been ice fishing. |
