8. Posting repeat topics with similar or slightly varying titles. While it may seem to be funny, the "spamming" of the community in this manner results in problems for users and management. (Multiple topics on important issues or discussions are acceptable, this only applies to topics which waste resources for no other reason except personal enjoyment or humor.) Would 30 topics with the same keyword in the last 30 days meet this criteria? I understand that beans/no beans, .45/9, Glock/1911, AR/AK is done weekly, but there is a single Netflix thread that has been active for 5 years without an update every time movies are added or taken away, a rolling 41P thread that has been going on since 9/2013, a Cola Warrior thread that has been active since 5/2014, and XCRmonger has maintained her cartoon thread since 6/2013 without posting a new thread with every new cartoon. I would think that one poster, starting 30 threads in 30 days about the same subject would be better suited by having their own thread the way TexasRifleman1985 was forced to consolidate all of his refugee news into one thread. Any who... here's some gun porn...

| I've considered creating a new "Official" 41-P thread for this reason. By my count there are at least 4 that are active, 2 in GD, one in the FLHTF, and one in the Armory. Questions are starting to get asking in the long-running one that have already been answered many times over. The rest are redundant and scattered about. |

it took weeks of the ron paulbots spamming the board with 6-12 threads a day, before the mods consolidated the threads to 2. YOU complained about my posting about 25 threads over 18 months and wanted to call it a violation of the coc. If you don't like a thread, don't click on it.  |
