Looking for small lightweight  travel laptop with keyboard. Don't need a tablet, this is strictly business related Microsoft based stuff. Looked at the surface pro 4 but dammit that sucker is $2000.

What do you guys recommend?

I'd stay away from Toshiba, Have been having a lot of issues and they've been running really hot.
Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus are good to go.

This is the correct answer, or at least it was for me.

13.3" 1920x1080, thinner & lighter than a MacBook air, 250GB SSD, 8GB RAM, W10. Only possible drawback is the low-power CPU but if your intended use doesn't require an i5 or better, it's plenty of CPU. I paid $699, but there's a $599 model out there with the previous generation CPU.

Oh, it's also fanless and has great battery life.

Dell XPS 13 is supposed to be one of the best new laptops out there
