Congrats, man! I remember when mine was approved... months of waiting for the transfer first from seller, then to in-state dealer, and finally to me. But the satisfaction was amazing when everything was completed!

How many months?

5 months to get approved. (Dealer had in-stock)

Waiting on my 8inch 300blk SBR to be approved; once that is finished I will apply for 7.62 Supp.

(Currently have 300blk sbr and ps90 sbr form 1's in process)

Very Nice OP!

I just received an email from the Silencer Shop, that my Octane 45 HD should be delivered to my FFL on Christmas Eve.
Cue "Silent" Night.

Going on my HK USP Tactical .45. I may order a couple of threaded factory barrels for my P226 and HK45. Gotta squirrel away some $$$ for those.
Ordered on Oct 3. Just under 3 months. Not bad.

I'm assuming that is the form 3 to your dealer, right? you probably still have a bit of a wait on the form 4 to you/your trust... That actually seems like a pretty long wait on the form 3 though.

Either way you will enjoy the Octane 45,  I really enjoy mine on a p220.

Nice! Just wish we could have cool toys like that here in the God Forsaken State of Illinois! Although we can (and I have 2) have SBR's if we jump threw enough hoops!

Yeah ... there's the Form 4 thing.
This is my first time going thru all the malarky to get a silencer, so I thought I was getting close to picking it up. Maybe not as close as I thought.

five months.

With that wait I'm guessing you're using a trust? You might want to consider submitting for the 7.62 sooner rather than later.

Currently overseas... :(  But when I get back in Feb, hell yeah I'm gonna get a 7.62. Waiting to see the results of that suppressor bill that is in congress atm. Buy suppressors just like regular firearms. no NFA!

Haha What you don't like FN's??

Form4 with trust was definitely very easy, not having to deal with finger prints and such.

Would kill to have a Kriss Vector to slap it on. *DROOL*

Don;t hold your breath. There are even idiots on this very site who don't think you should be "allowed" to do that.

I paid the taxes for mine and I would love to see them out of the NFA. I am not going to hold my breath though
