So I'm scratch building the light cruiser USS Helena in 1/700 waterline. haven't made one In years. I forgot to take the sheet plastic thickness into account and my superstructure is way too tall.
But my technique still works. You cant see in the pic but the main deck is scribed for planking where required.The hull will be molded and cast with no superstructure so I'll end up building the variants Brooklyn, Honolulu, Savannah, Philadelphia and Wichita. This is my useless cool skill btw.
