As general policy when a lifetime member is banned - it's gone. It does not come "re-available." There are reasons for and against. In my opinion it is the right way to do it (and I was not an original lifetime member.) |

No you can't read the Lifer forum stuff, but this is basically what did him in. I think it was warning #20 or some such thing. I think it's a site record, to be honest. 
For the TL;DR crowd, that thread was regarding a Washington man who got 22 months in jail for poaching (fishing without a license - many prior convictions). 1GR flat out said he'd fished without a license on that same river and would do it again. That was...ill-advised. 
They've always handed out warnings for advocating illegal activities. I have one on my B&W list for it (in my defense, I didn't know it was illegal, but still...). Anywhoo...that combined with some other shenanigans kinda put the final nail in the coffin.
