the usually come from the factory with random torque values on the gas block screws. this leads to inaccuracy. tighten them to the same torque value and accuracy improves greatly.

they aren't precision rifles so everyone has on them.  they're good enough for a lot of things.

they are now on the wrong side of the AR price curve, so that hurts them too...

That's their biggest problem these days in my opinion.  I'd love to pick one up for $400-$500, but not $700+

My grandfather gave me his... Its a first gen and it works pretty well. I've never tested for accuracy but for plinking/hunting it works just fine

But for the price I would take an AR over it any day
