I was a Rangemaster & Firearms instructor for a major federal agency.
I had a young rookie who did a roll and draw & fire. I told him to never do it again, because it was essentially was turning his back on a threat, Plus the bad guy could skip rounds off the turf by shooting in front of him and skip rounds into him. The worst training source is watching TV shows and movies. I have seen rookies pull a full Sabrina while participating in sims training. |
