Just curious, what do those marks (they look like < some times pointer up,left or right)

I thought those were used to indicate ALLIED forces in GW1.


In a related question what is that symbol I have seen on a bunch of US troopers helmets..

Looks like a chinese symbol on either side.

IIRC it was something about which part of the unit that tank is from...

The 'wash-boards' are the IFF devices...

I think it used to be an IFF marking, back in WWII...

The 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne soldiers all have the Torii on their Helmet. It is the symbol of their unit and comes from their unit's history in the far east.

I like the big-ass neon orange ID panels that allied vehicles have (usually on the roof).

Sure is nice to have air superiority!
