Link to actual poll??? http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/11/17/in-nations-with-significant-muslim-populations-much-disdain-for-isis/ 100% of Christians in Lebanon have an unfavorable view of ISIS, but only 98% of Israeli Jews have an unfavorable view towards ISIS. |

We're going to have to be honest or no one will listen. Quoted:
In no country surveyed did more than 15% of the population show favorable attitudes toward Islamic State. We're going to have to be honest or no one will listen. That's a huge number people even if it is a minority. That could be 150,000,000 people. Plenty more believe in Shariah Law, which is pretty brutal. |

And that's who we're helping when we parrot this "All Muslims are terrorists" stuff. That helps them. We shouldn't help Muslim terrorists achieve their goals. They're the bad guys. |

Nobody gets it. Even you dudes in this thread. There are probably more than that and it's not just Iraq and Syria. I'm not just referring to The Saudis either. Support extends down through the peninsula, up into Turkey, across the canal into Egypt, the across to Libya and down to Sudan and beyond.
With the internet finally in every corner of the world, there isn't a linear or geographical spread. They're recruiting new soldiers online right here in outlr country. |

So the majority of Muslims in other countries don't support ISIS? Well duh. Most Muslims in those countries are very tribalist. They aren't going to support an extremist group of a different bent even if they themselves are actually extremists. Hell, I'm sure plenty of muslims are terrified of ISIS coming into their country and trying to take over because their currently mulslim country doesn't fit ISIS's horrible vision. I bet tribal leaders in placed like Pakistan or Afghanistan don't support johnny come lately ISIS who could conceivably threaten their locally controlled power if it were a worldwide movement. All this poll shows is the number of people who support ISIS. It does not show the number of people who support extremists or are themselves extremists. It does not show the number of people who support sharia law. |
