I never tried it back then, but the Single Barrel Select of today is, IMO, some of the very finest sippin' whiskey available, at any price, period.  








Gentleman Jack is also simply amazing, and smoooooth as can be.








There is also a limited release 86 proof "Master Distiller" series out now, that I consider superior for sipping neat.
