Because I don't want to tie up a working gun. I'd rather use a gun that's either unsafe to shoot or that's broken beyond reasonable repair. The AR example above looks pretty good though. It'd be easy to fix the stock to the base and then just slide the gun off the stock and put a different stock on the gun if you wanted to use it. But I'd like to run the wires through the bore on my project, if that helps explain my thinking better. |
