According to an incident report, the responding deputy asked them if they were on any type of narcotic, to which they replied no.
The couple then began to tell the deputy they had pictures of worms coming out of the floor of their vehicle and pictures of other people camouflaged. The deputy said he looked at several of the pictures, which reportedly just showed a basketball goal and a tree. The couple said the person was standing beside the tree and they could clearly see the person. The deputy says when he told the couple there was nothing there, Terry told him it was because only he could see them. When the deputy made a background check on Terry, he found six felony warrants from Cleveland County, North Carolina, for narcotics charges. During a field sobriety test, the deputy says Terry stopped and said that he felt the deputy touching his eyes. The deputy told Terry his six warrants were for pills and cocaine. Terry then said he did experiment with drugs in the past but denied being under the influence of any narcotics.
