They're good pistols for the money. But they're the kind that are more comfortable to carry than they are to shoot. Two of the Cavalry Arms crew have P32s. I had a P11 till last weekend it was a decent pistol for waht it was. I decided to sell it and start looking for something that would be comfortable to carry and to shoot for fun. |

I have a P-11. I concur that it's good for the money. Just be aware that some need a little fluff & buff to get the reliability up. Mine shot FMJ range rounds by the hundreds with no problems. Then, when I tried putting hollow points through it I'd get 2 or 3 failure-to-feed malfunctions with each mag. I checked on the KelTec Owners Group website (www.ktog.org) and then polished my feed ramp & tried "slightly" opening the magazine lips. Next trip to the range I shot 40 rounds of JHP rapid fire with no malfunctions. If I had paid $850 for it I would have expected perfection out of the box. However, considering the price (Shop around- I got mine for around $230 in SS) I'm not at all bothered by having to polish it a little. Now it's my constant companion and I have high confidence in it. |
| I love my Sub 2000. I have a 9mm in the Glock mag configuration. The only problems one may encounter stem from the spring being a bit stiff (it loves +P ammo) but it generally works itself out and the case deflector on the earler models get worn away (the latter ones come with a metal clip that the cases hit instead of the plastic). Other than that, it is one of the most fun weapons I have had the pleasure to own. I keep mine in a Craftsman truck box behind the seat. It folds down to easily fit in a briefcase or tennis racket case, and is very fun to shoot. |
