Well it's Sunday, Whole day of football on TV, nothing else to do, weather is kinda rainy/misty, good day to sit on the back porch and smoke a brisket.

Gave it a little rub last night.

put the meat out at 4am this morning to get it closer to room temp.

Had some smoke going by 6am....

Hopefully it's going to be a good day....  Just me and the pregnant wife at home so plenty of meat for the two of us.

I put 3 turkey's on at 7:00 p.m. last night for a senior citizen banquet at the church this afternoon. Pulled them out about 11:30. Sorry, didn't think of taking pics. Those 3 and 5 others between 23-25lbs will make a whole bunch of senior citizens happy and full of gas

That's great! You make me want to knock on my neighbor's door after it's done. It's a couple of senior citizens that just walk around their property and play with their dogs. They really never leave the house, and sometimes when I BBQ he'll meet me at the fence and ask me when it'll be ready lol

Honestly, only time I listen to music is when I'm in the car. My house doesn't even have a radio in it, but when I do I'm an equal opportunity listener, usually top 20's music, what ever is "popular" right now. I'm kinda strange, b/c I like it ALL. I'm from New Orleans, so we have Jazz down here, but I also can listen to pop, rap, country, metal, alternative.... I'm not picky, a good catchy line or nice beat will change how I drive.

2.5 hours in..... it's about a 5.5-6 lb brisket point, so I think I'm close to half way done..... hopefully, hope there isn't a super long stall.

9 hours in, had to wrap it to get it through the stall....
