It's a forecast or prediction. It is not a guarantee. The forecasts have gotten damn good but mother nature still throws a curveball now and then.

Looking outside allows you to predict the weather days, or weeks, in advance so you can plan outdoor activities? Are you a wizard?

They have screwed my plans more times than I can count! Last 3 trips I just ingnored their forecast and took my chances and a lot of money was on the line each time! Had a trip to the Smoky Mountains end of July, Sept 11, and another trip to NW Ark end of Sept. Each time they were showing 80-100% chance of rain nearly everyday and these were motorcycle trips. Only time it ever rained was during the evening one night while we were sitting in the cabin watching TV Sept 12. Beautiful riding weather the entire trip
