I was around 9 when I first heard them on the air.  48, in the next day, or so.

They've been around a wee time.

RIP Bonn Scott, he was one of a kind.

But I also agree Brain Johnson did just fine, especially with the greatest rock and roll Anthem

Edit of course it's already posted..  Cause it's so epic.

One of my fondest memories from college was Dec 4th my freshman and sophomore year. St Barbara is the patron saint of artillerymen among every things, so every dec 4th a group of cadets would bring out some old 75mm guns that the college had. they would play for those about to rock and would fire blanks timed to the song. After the end of the song the campus was choked in smoke and car alarms were going off and shit. It was Murica' as fuck.

the song gives me chills now.

Malcolm Young is not doing well I guess
In April 2014, Young became seriously ill and was unable to continue performing.[7] On 16 April 2014, AC/DC released a note stating that Young would be "taking a break from the band due to ill health". However, singer Brian Johnson stated that despite earlier reports, AC/DC are not retiring: "We are definitely getting together in May in Vancouver.
We're going to pick up guitars, have a plonk and see if anybody has got
any tunes or ideas. If anything happens we'll record it."[9]
In July, Johnson revealed that Young was in hospital receiving
treatment for an unspecified condition and that during May recording
sessions had been replaced in the studio by Stevie Young, his nephew.[2] On 24 September 2014, the band's management announced that Young would not be rejoining the band.[4] Stevie Young continued to fill in for Malcolm on the band's 2015 Rock or Bust World Tour.[10]

On 26 September 2014, the Sydney Morning Herald reported that Young has dementia
and has been admitted to a nursing home where he can receive full-time
care. A source close to Young was quoted in this article as saying: "He
has complete loss of short-term memory."[11]
Young's family confirmed four days later that he has dementia. The
family is quoted as saying: "Malcolm is suffering from dementia and the
family thanks you for respecting their privacy."[3]
