Is a nil-nil game in professional kickball considered an exciting match? Like brilliant?

I will watch and be riveted by a MLB pitchers duel that ends up 1-0.

But really, doesn't every kickball match need to end up 10-9 to be worth watching?

20 something year old girls play kickball too, I'm not above playing to round some bases on and off the field.

Well, I guess soccer ball if you're a purist.

They kick at it with their feet. I say kickball.

Now true American kickball never ends nil-nil, does it?

True American kick ball only has a score so the little kids think they won.

And only enough innings played until you need to slay some hotdogs and tater salad.

The game little kids play at recess. Baseball but with a ball rolled to the plate to be kicked.

I guess the point is that professional soccer has to be the most boring waste of time of any sport.

And they pay those slip and fall and call for the stretcher guys tens of millions a year to do jack shit.

Run around for 90 minutes. Here's your $50,000,000. Thanks for all the scoreless games!

Except for football/soccer has 90 minutes of movement and constantly something happening.

Handegg, you do something, lasts somewhere between 3 and 7 seconds and then there's like 45 seconds to a minute of nothing. Then you do it again and again. I forgot where Is aw it, but if you add up all of the actual 'playtime' in an NFL game it averages to something like 12-15 minutes.

Yes, a nil-nil game can be entertaining, depending on which team you're rooting for. And here I thought we were talking about kickball lol...

Yawn.  Except when it stops for the pretending and then they just add some mystery minutes at the end for all that nonsense so that there's more time for it.

Constantly happening?  You mean a bunch of women throwing themselves on the ground expecting a break in the action so their teammate can kiss their boo boo better?

Soccer is  90 minutes of running back and forth aimlessly until one of them gets a scraped knee and just lays down on the field until someone notices his poor dramatic performance.

Football is Cowboys vs Redskins. Horns vs Sooners.

Kickball is 90 plus minutes of they work the ball down, here it is,  Ohhhh kicked back 80 yards! Do it again. Hold it.. hold it.. HOLD IT!!!! Ohhh.. tackled. Vicious nudge! Bring out the stretcher. See how that one guy brushed up against the victim? Brutal!

Great athletes but what a load of shit.

Oh I thought you were talking about the boring sport also known as football, yea that ones boring too, it's like "imma kick this ball, then we're gonna bash into each other but stop like wimps if the ball touches the ground".

I'd rather watch real sports like TT and WRC.

Mind you, it's not always and I guess it depends on if anything is on the line. Regular season game, not so much, unless it's someone that is a complete underdog vs. the champs or someone on top of the table. It kind of all depends. I try to watch as many games as I can, but that's because I enjoy it. On the other hand, you don't so why would you think it's entertaining?

Do you watch the world cup?

I do watch the world cup. Until it's too boring to take. And on the rare occasions it's not boring it's fun.

And if the real action in a football game can be boiled down to 12 minutes or so the real action in a kickball game can be boiled down to about 30 seconds. If that.

Kicking the ball back and forth across the mid - line for 89 minutes isn't exactly riveting.

Soccer sounds lame enough as it is, so you don't need to call it kickball. There are actual kickball leagues for adults (drinking leagues, like softball), so it gets confusing if you call it that. I have a group of friends who occasionally plays kickball when we get together. It's actually a lot of fun, and nobody has to bring their bat and glove.

I played soccer for like 6 years when I was a kid, and even playing it is boring. I can't watch it, period. Hockey is boring too, but at least they have some good fights. If they would encourage fighting like that in soccer, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Or they could have women's soccer with them all playing topless. So there are ways to make it better, and they aren't even trying.

Ok, leatherface_y2k-

Soccer is the worldwide phenomina you describe

Kickball is the game you played 1st grade - 8th grade PE when in was too hot for dodgeball.
And it involved baseball, but instead of baseballs, bats and gloves....
you used a big rubber ball.
Shit tons of fun too
