Interesting issue here.

There are two profiles/accounts on the target computer.  I can log in to one of them, let's call it B, with an ios device and my laptop.

But Profile A, I can only log in using an ios device.

Naturally account A is the one I want to use with the laptop

Target: Windows 10 Pro
Laptop: Windows 10 Home

iOS devices are using Pocketcloud.

Again, with either the laptop or the ios device I can get into the target computer logging on using profile B info.

With profile A it will give me the login option.  But it keeps rejecting the password.  I even changed the password remotely for profile A and it won't accept the password.

Profile/Account A is a local Admin account
Profile/Account B is a network (one of those hotmail login accounts) Admin account

Thoughts?

Are you getting an RDP prompt on both devices and just failing authentication with one or the one device isn't even hitting the host?

I always go to the logs brah.  Old habits die hard.  Could be a few things but I'm not current with the available settings for RDS on 10.  I'd imagine it's about the same but who knows.

Just turn off all the security settings.

Hey it worked for Clinton.

Do both A and B accounts have passwords?  There is a windoes security policy that requires a password on accounts if you want to connect via RDP.  You can change the settings in the policy, but that could be your problem.

What happens if you do "WORKGROUP\ProfileA" as the user account?

hmmm.

I don't remember adding the computer to a workgroup.

One thing I do see when I use the ipad/pocketcloud is an 'Other User' splashscreen for a brief moment when logging in with profile A.
