When I log on to the site, I usually hit the Discussion Forums link under the banner. Yesterday there were ~75,000 members, IIRC. As of now, there are over 84,000!

9,000 new members in one day? What's up with that?

Someone just need to give the counter a swift kick. However, memberships are on the rise. I just got done approving 30+ accounts. There are more on hold. I'll let the other staff handle it. My finger hurts.
