I rarely comment on these dinner pics, however--this one is so awesome--I had to say: damn good job! 10/10!
My only question--did you share some grouse with your dog? I know many do not, but I was a pushover for my GSD & she got some of whatever I ate, unless it wasn't safe. Again, sir--well done! |

Never had that problem with a ruffled grouse. Spruce hen on the other hand... Oh, 10/10. Grouse is very hard to beat. |

Not a single dead bird. Had maybe two doable shots out of 18 flushes. Grouse hunting success is almost never measured in birds in the bag, but flushes in the field. |
